Mother of seven, married 25 years, designer,artist, buyer and merchandiser. My main role is mother and homemaker. I have learned so much from that. Being at home has allowed me time to study the things that I love. I've had my own jewelry line, Leilani apparel line, producer of three Shakespeare plays, and owned a fitness center. All my life I have loved design and can remember my earliest creations. I'm grateful that my children are interested in sharing this blog. And I'm a Mormon.

Who am I? What a loaded question! I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend... but on a more exciting note... I am a lover of feathers, awesome patterns, different textures, fabulous fabric, my curly hair, Jonathan and Christopher, and groovin' music (in no particular order). I instinctively touch just about everything so I can see what the texture is like. I really enjoy wearing funky earrings (except due to a small boy that won't be happening soon). I recently graduated from BYU-Idaho with a degree in Interior Design and moved back to the east coast where my heart has always been. If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to Thailand... or Peru... or Morocco... or South Africa... I just love traveling and would go anywhere actually.

I am currently attending BYU-Idaho where I am studying Exercise Physiology emphasis in Fitness and Exercise and minor in International Studies. I love all things that have to do with Fitness, Exercise and Nutrition. Recently I became Zumba certified! If you do not know what this is, go look it up and then go to a class, it is fantastic! Also I love all ridiculously high heel shoes (especially since my husband is 9 inches taller than me!) and the color grey, haven't you noticed that it is everywhere right now?!

I'm a senior in school [home school] so I am focusing a lot on extra curricular right now, like this blog! I play the piano and have since I was four and I love fashion and accessorizing and I am pretty sure that I want to own some kind of clothing something when I graduate from BYU-Idaho. I'm a sister, daughter, auntie, musician, designer, and dreamer.

I love writing, purple, and sleep. I am pretty sure I would keel over and die if I didn't have music in my life, I am extremely grateful for the beautiful sounds of instruments. Did someone say instruments? Oh right, I did. I play the drums, which can be very stressful at times, but also very stress relieving. Writing is a plus for me too, if you haven't ever tried sitting down to write something, try it. For me, it is like reading a book, only you get to pick what happens. (Granted that probably isn't a very appetizing picture.) I just recently finished my first novel, hopefully I can send it into a couple publishers by the end of the year. If i didn't have my family by my side, my life would be incredibly boring; thanks for being there in my life. Daughter, author, drummer, and a lover of life.
